Actress and filmmaker Khosi Mkhonza is a dynamic South African storyteller whose work
spans theatre, film, television and voice acting. An AFDA graduate, Mkhonza has built an
impressive portfolio that includes theatre productions such as Who’s Next, Winnie the Pooh,
Shrek the Musical and Disney’s Aladdin, where she took on the lead role of Jasmine. Her
screen credits include Netflix’s Do Your Worst and London Recruits.
Beyond live-action performance, Mkhonza has lent her voice to beloved children’s productions
including Cocomelon, Rubble & Crew and Dora the Explorer, performing in isiZulu. A multi-
skilled creative, she also works across writing, singing, dancing, visual art and production
design, bringing a diverse range of talents to every story she helps bring to life.
