Teachers and WhatsApp convenient communication or a boundary that shouldn’t be crossed?

This week’s Great Drive Debate asked: Should teachers be allowed to WhatsApp learners privately, or should all communication happen in monitored groups or official school platforms?

Some say private messages make it easier to communicate quickly, especially when it comes to homework, emergencies or one-on-one support. Others believe there need to be clear boundaries to protect both learners and teachers.
