IN CONVERSATION WITH KAITLIN RAWSON

Today's guest is nothing short of extraordinary. Joining us is Kaitlin
Rawson, a Johannesburg-based ParaPole and artistic aerial pole athlete,
multi-time world champion, pole fitness and stretch mobility instructor, and
co-founder of Elevate Fitness Studio.
Kaitlin's journey is one of resilience and determination. She started pole
fitness in 2014 alongside her mother, Debbie. Just two years later, a
devastating training accident left her with a burst C5 vertebra and
incomplete quadriplegia. After months of rehabilitation and relearning how
to walk, she returned to the pole stronger than ever.
Since then, she has gone on to win multiple world championships, break a

world record in her ParaPole category, and even compete against able-
bodied athletes in artistic aerial pole on the international stage. Beyond

competing, she is passionate about coaching, helping others discover
strength through movement, and advocating for athletes within the sport.
Kaitlin, welcome to the show. It's such an honour to have you with us.
