The defending Currie Cup champions, the Suzuki Griquas, have been forced into a late change ahead of Friday night's opening-round clash against the Stormers in Cape Town.
Versatile flank Marco de Witt has been withdrawn from the starting XV due to a minor injury concern. While the issue is not considered serious, the Griquas coaching staff opted against taking any unnecessary risks in their opening match of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Griquas head coach Pieter Bergh said the experience within his squad remains one of the team's biggest strengths, with the milestones achieved by Leon Lyons and Cameron Hufke highlighting the stability built within the group.
