Helen Lebepe on Kwa Baba – New Mzansi Magic Telenovela

We’ve just had a chat with Helen Lebepe about Kwa Baba, the new Mzansi Magic telenovela. The story follows Zwelakhe Mkhize, whose life is turned upside down after his father’s death, leaving him with shocking family responsibilities — including paying lobola for his own mother. Helen Lebepe plays Mrs Dikeledi Motaung, a strong matriarch fiercely protecting her family, especially as her daughter Bahumi’s marriage prospects bring new tension.

Kwa Baba premieres on Mzansi Magic Channel 161 from Monday, 01 June at 19:30.
