Caroline Ungersbock, is the chair and co‑founder of the Sustainable Tourism Partnership Programme and Festival Director of the International Tourism Film Festival Africa. A hands‑on change agent, she has travelled to more than 125 towns across South Africa, helping tourism businesses and municipalities adopt sustainable and responsible tourism practices. She represents the sector at national forums and parliament, shaping policy and driving industry transformation. With international experience across nine countries and leadership roles in major tourism bodies, Caroline is recognised as one of South Africa’s leading voices in sustainable tourism. She is also co‑founder of ITFFA and founder of the Rural Aerodrome Company, bringing aviation and tourism opportunities to rural communities.
