Dr. Victor Mashindi is an electrochemist and nanomaterials
researcher at the University of the Witwatersrand. He has a PhD in
chemistry and works at the Molecular Sciences Institute in the School of
Chemistry. His research focuses on nanomaterials and electrocatalysts for
clean energy technologies. His expertise includes the synthesis of
nanomaterials, material characterisation, electrochemistry, and catalyst
design. Dr. Mashindi has added to a growing collection of research on
hollow carbon sphere catalysts and energy-related nanomaterials. He has
published in top journals like Chemistry Open, International Journal of
Hydrogen Energy, Nanomaterials, and Frontiers in Chemistry. His work
aims to support the development of more affordable and scalable clean
energy solutions, especially in sustainable hydrogen production.
