Nearly R450 million spent on travel and accommodation in just 18 months that’s the bill ActionSA says Ministers in the Government of National Unity have already racked up. The figure, revealed through the party’s GNU Performance Tracker and based on parliamentary replies, is expected to climb beyond R500 million once all responses are finalised. ActionSA has described the spending as a stark example of executive excess at a time when unemployment sits at 12 million and public services are under severe strain.
