Odeion School of Music students, at the University of the Free State, frequently participate in performances, competitions, and events. Unfortunately, not everyone is in a privileged position to acquire the necessary performance attire. To support them, the OSM has established a Costume Library – a collection of formal and performance-appropriate clothing items that students can borrow when needed. Dr Frelét De Villiers, Academic Head/Senior Lecturer at the OSM joins Yolanda Maartens in the OFM Art Beat to ask the public for donations of previously loved evening wear for ladies and gents.
