The Proteas have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20 International series against England following a 14-run victory, determined by the DLS method, on Thursday night in Cardiff.
The match at Sophia Gardens in Wales was delayed by rain and eventually reduced to just nine overs a side. England won the toss and asked South Africa to bat first.
