The Springbok Women suffered their first defeat of the Women’s Rugby World Cup in England with a heavy 57-10 loss to France in Northampton, but their focus will quickly shift to New Zealand who they will tackle in the quarter-finals.
Coach Swys de Bruin was quick to admit that they weren’t at their best as they rested nine regular starters with the eye on the knockout rounds, but credited the French for being the quality outfit that they are.
