The Proteas will be looking to learn from their mistakes as they shift their focus to Zimbabwe in the T20 International Tri-Series in Harare.
Yesterday, the Black Caps of New Zealand beat South Africa by 21 runs at the Harare Sports Club.
New Zealand posted a competitive 173/5 in their 20 overs, with Tim Robinson top-scoring with an unbeaten 75.
In reply, Dewald Brevis scored a quickfire 35 off 18 balls to top-score for South Africa, while George Linde added 30 off 20.
Proteas batting coach Ashwell Prince said this is a young side, and gaining experience is part of the journey.
