The Toyota Cheetahs have emphasised the importance of strong performances in their upcoming games against the Suzuki Griquas and Georgia next month.
The Cheetahs are currently in their pre-season, and these matches form a key part of their preparations for the Currie Cup.
Last year, the Cheetahs reached the semi-finals, and they’re confident of doing well again this time around.
They do, however, have a tough draw, with matches against the Boland Cavaliers, the Pumas, and defending champions, the Sharks, in the first three rounds.
Scrumhalf Jeandré Nel told OFM Sport that they need to go into the Currie Cup with momentum.
