Proteas Women’s coach, Mandla Mashimbyi, firmly believes that Annerie Dercksen is on her way to becoming one of the best all-rounders in the near future.
The ICC’s Emerging Women’s Player of the Year had a standout tour of Sri Lanka recently, which included scoring her maiden One-Day International century.
The former Free State player is steadily improving with each series, and all eyes will be on her during next month’s tour to the West Indies.
Mashimbyi said Dercksen puts in the hard work required to be among the best.
