Make It Make Sense - Driver's License Card Renewal Updates That Drivers Need To Know

South Africa’s only driver’s license card printing machine is operational again. The Department of Transport confirmed last week that the card printer was back up and running after a three-month outage that hit in February. However, the outage has caused a backlog of driver's license cards in waiting with almost 747 746 applications. There are even more drivers who have licenses expiring beyond that number, and frustration continues to grow daily. Today we spoke to the National Spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Collen Msibi to afford listeners more clarity on the matter.
