"Synergy of Strings" is meer as 'n konvensie - dit is 'n viering van erfenis, 'n oproep tot verbinding en 'n visie vir die toekoms van strykers in Suid-Afrika. Of jy nou 'n musiekliefhebber, student, onderwyser of professionele kunstenaar is, hierdie konvensie bied 'n ongeëwenaarde geleentheid om te ervaar, leer en by te dra tot die groei van Suid-Afrikaanse strykmusiek. Vanjaar se tema is die strykkwartet en maak dit dus sin om met Anmari van der Westhuizen, tjellis in die Odeion Strykkwartet te gesels oor vanjaar se SA Strings konvensie wat by die Universiteit van die Vrystaat plaasvind van 1 tot 4 Mei.
