Hybrid Players: Rugby's Terrifying New Experiment

In a twist of revolutionary proportions, rugby appears to be at the start of an exciting, but potentially terrifying new era. Enter the hybrid player. There was traditionally a line between forwards and backs. Fans would marvel at players who could play multiple positions and enjoy the odd bit of "backline skill" displayed by a forward. But now it looks as if there are forwards who could replace backs altogether! In this episode Springbok rugby content creator Peter Stemmet looks at the rise of this phenomenon, highlights the players to watch out for and references a man within the Springbok ranks who has had this ability all along.
