One dead, three injured at Walter Sisulu shooting incident

Walter Sisulu University students in Mthatha campus are protesting after the university’s residence manager shot and killed a student, while three others were admitted to hospital, according to SRC leader Themba Zikhali. The shooting occurred on Tuesday morning, 15 April after students allegedly set a car belonging to the manager alight near a student resident during a protest. The shooting of the students has sparked further protests across the campus.
