Drive Moment - Social Plans We Make In The Moment, Only To Regret Later

Loading player...
Have you ever caught yourself making social plans or promises that feel right in the moment, but later, are hard to stick to? When we meet people we haven't seen in a long time, or when we strike a connection with someone new, we may find ourselves in that phase of the conversation, when someone initiates the "second meet up", or an invitation arises. Maybe we just feel compelled to say things like, "We should do something sometime!" Or "Sure I'll be there", or even "I'll give you a call". Which social plans do you catch yourself making in the moment and later don't feel like doing it? Why do we like ending conversations with social promises? Are social plans always real, or are they just conversational habits?
