If your partner asks you to help them with something, it's easy to debate and say no, but when your boss asks you to do something, it's a non-negotiable and you're obligated to do it. Could this cause our partners to feel neglected? Do we sometimes get so caught up in our jobs that we don't show our partners the same undivided attention and anticipation that we show our work? Should we look for ways to balance our home and work lives better? Or should our partners understand the obligations that we have towards our work, and not feel insecure about it in anyway?
