In the 15 years Add Hope has been operational, an incredible milestone of R1 Billion in donations has been reached. Of that amount, KFC has donated R400 000 of it.

KFC’s Marketing Manager for Brand and Purpose, Andra Nel shares the incredible work Add Hope has been able to do over the years. She also talks about KFC Add Hope’s partnership with Kolisi Foundation and tells us more about their Indlala campaign.

“A lot of people wonder, where does my R2 go? This is an example of how South Africans are collectively amazing. 15 years of Add Hope this year and we’re incredibly proud of the billion-rand milestone we’ve reached. We’ve been able to serve 320 million meals in across 3300 feeding centres that are operating every single day, making sure kids in our country can turn their hunger into play which is the campaign we’ve partnered with Siya and Rachel Kolisi on”, says Andra.

“We’ve partnered with the Kolisi Foundation for 3 years now and the work they’ve been doing in the Western Cape and in Siya's home province of the Eastern Cape. With the #Indlala2Dlala campaign, we wanted to tell Siya's story because the reality is that his story is the story of every Add Hope child. We wanted to celebrate the impact we’ve been making and partnering with Siya and Rachel has allowed us to tell that story well, but it also reminds us what a child can achieve when they’ve got access to healthy and nutritional food which is what fundamentally changed his journey”, says Andra.
