Laura Wolvaardt - Women's T20 World Cup final defeat
--:--
The Proteas captain, Laura Wolvaardt, has expressed her disappointment after losing a second consecutive ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final.
Last night New Zealand beat South Africa by 32-runs in Dubai to win the World Cup for the first time.
New Zealand showed a lot more intent with the bat in hand while South Africa’s bowling discipline was not quite up to scratch.
The New Zealanders were also brilliant in putting the pressure on the South African batters with the ball.
Wolvaardt, who scored 33-runs said they were simply outplayed by the better team.
