The former Free State and North West batter, Anneke Bosch, is delighted to have been able to steer South Africa into the final of the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup in Dubai.
Last night the 31-year-old played the best innings of her career with an unbeaten 74-runs off 48-balls to help the Proteas to a resounding 8-wicket against Australia in the semi-final.
Bosch blasted 8 fours and a six as South Africa beat the serial World Cup winners for the first time ever in a World Cup.
Bosch said she is just delighted to have hit form when it mattered most.
The winner of today’s semi-final between New Zealand and the West Indies will face the Proteas in Sunday’s final.
