Music in Community is a choir and violin project held every Saturday morning at Generation School. It aims to uplift and enrich students from Masi, Oceanview, Redhill, and nearby areas through arts education. Choir and violin lessons help with self-expression and nurture future performers and teachers. Local musicians are invited to join rehearsals, fostering community building. The program offers students opportunities to perform and attend cultural events in Cape Town. It provides a positive, creative weekend activity, promoting teamwork, discipline, and emotional release.
