Cilliers Brink, the now former mayor of Tshwane, walked into the council with a background of supporters in blue singing in the street, but he left the chamber to a chorus of boos as he darted to the parking lot, having lost his VIP transport along with his mayorship. Brink, a member of the DA caucus, was ousted on Thursday afternoon after ActionSA joined the ANC coalition's motion of no-confidence.
