#FirstThingsFirst - Andile Mngxitama’s utterances may come back to bite him

--:--
A 2018 video of Andile Mngxitama, then Black First Land First leader, delivering a speech to a BLF rally in Potchefstroom has resurfaced online. In his speech he called for his supporters to get ready to kill for the land. This was in response to an interview Johan Ruppert had where he implied that he had taxi bosses in his corner to handle the red berets. The matter was taken to South African Human Rights Commission by AfriForum, and it was ruled as “not hate speech”. Be that as it may, were the utterances becoming of a member of parliament? Should Mngxitama face the same fate as Renaldo Gouws? Those were questions the team and listeners pondered on.
