This podcast gives an overview of the value of the heard word in stimulating literacy and love of literature in very young children. It is my experience and my conviction that the lifelong love of reading is presaged, stimulated, enhanced and vitalised by the act of hearing audio stories as children. This is the impetus behind the creation of this unique podcast series. In narrative, rhythm, rhyme, verse and song. Written and narrated by storyteller and author, Lynn Joffe, aka Auntie Lala.
