I am presently employed as the Communications and Stakeholder Relations Manager at the South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (SAIAB). My role in the IMIsEE Project is to provide guidance to ensure that the project embraces the framework of engaged research and the principles of RRI to achieve the impact of cooperation between ‘Science with and for Society’. To do this, one of my main roles is to develop a science communication strategy and science engagement outputs as deliverables on this project. This involves developing digital/social media outputs.
