But then in 2007 he returned to the Springbok fold and not only made the squad to travel to the Rugby World Cup, but played a part in six of the seven matches, including the final. In this exhilarating episode of Front Row Rugby you will get a firsthand account of what really happened as Wikus Van Heerden completed one of the greatest comebacks in the history of sport to take his place among a select group of Springboks who went all the way to life the Webb Ellis Cup!
