It’s been 64 years since 69 protesters who were marching peacefully against
discriminatory pass laws were shot and killed by apartheid police. Phemelo speak to
Historian, Steve Lebelo who believes the Sharpeville massacre was not a violation of
human rights as the ANC government would like us to believe. He says it was an
atrocity, brutally tragic, leaving an indelible mark in the imagination of Africans in
relation to white supremacy.
