Warren made his Springbok Test debut in a 61-22 annihilation of Australia at Loftus Versveld in Pretoria. He also scored a try in a memorable first outing in the famous green and gold jersey. But a combination of injuries, coaches preferring other players and competing against a gifted generation of Springbok loose forwards meant Brosnihan’s Test career was limited to just six appearances.
