Soweto Clinics Manager says she was unaware of chronic medication shortage

Manager of all Clinics in Soweto, Maria Mazibuko speaks to Phemelo about the shortage of some chronic medication at some Soweto clinics. It’s understood clinics including Tladi Provincial, Zola & Tladi TB clinic issues with suppliers. The issue was brought to light by a Soweto resident who spoke to Point of View on condition of anonymity, the woman told POV her mother hasn't been able to get her diabetic medication for over 2 weeks. Mazibuko says her office was not aware of any shortage of chronic medication until Point of View contacted their provincial office.
