#PhalaborwaFire| Government steps in to assist

The Limpopo MEC for Co-operative Governance, Human Settlements, and Traditional Affairs Basikopo Makamu is appealing to members of the community and private sector to assist government in its efforts to ensure that life goes back to normal for displaced fire victims. Makamu told Nghamula Chauke that the fires that ravaged some houses and a lodge in Phalaborwa had devastating effects on the victims. The government has decided to step in and offer the much-needed support. He adds that there is a serious need for education about fires to those who downplay their dangers.
