Another earth tremor was felt in parts of Johannesburg on Wednesday night. There seems to have been a growing pattern of these quakes in South Africa, especially Gauteng, in recent times. We invited Prof. Ray Durrheim, Professor of Geosciences at Wits, to share insights on why this could be the case. He revealed that these tremors are not new, it’s just that some cannot be felt. Moreover, he advised on whether we should be concerned or not.
