A forgotten term, The Fed Put, has re-entered Wall Street's vocabulary. Stock and bond participants are betting the US Federal Reserve Bank is bluffing and will stop raising interest rates when economic damage becomes obvious. Fed officials have been doing their best in public statements to say the opposite.
