A vessel that’s set to be the world’s biggest cruise ship has completed construction at a shipyard in Finland and has made its first foray into open water for sea trials ahead of likely delivery in October this year. Nick Sloane, Salvage Master, who was also part of the advisory team for the vessel named Icon of the Seas, joined Sizwe share more insight. He highlighted the advancement of technology as a big part to ensure safety of such a large ship.
