The Free Stater, Charan Moore, has won the Malle Moto Class of the 2023 Dakar Rally that concluded yesterday in Saudi Arabia.
The Ladybrand local competed in the Dakar for the just the second time after making his debut last year.
The Malle Moto Class is considered to be the toughest at the event as the riders have to do everything themselves.
Speaking to OFM Sport after his victory, the 31-year-old Moore said it was quite an experience.
