The Proteas are in action again on Thursday at the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia and they will face Pakistan in a crunch match in Sydney.
India moved back to the top of Group 2 yesterday with a 5 run win over Bangladesh according to the Duckworth-Lewis method.
The Proteas need a victory to secure their spot in the semi-finals, while mathematically speaking it is still possible for Pakistan to advance.
For the Pakistan to advance they will need to beat South Africa and Bangladesh on Sunday in Adelaide.
