Gerhard Erasmus - Namibia's 55-run win over Sri Lanka in T20 WC qualifier

The ICC T20 World Cup got underway in Australia yesterday with the qualifiers and there was a major upset on the card.
Namibia secured a famous victory by beating the much more fancied Sri Lanka by 55 runs in Geelong.
The Eagles batted first and scored 163/7 in their 20 overs with Jan Frylinck scoring 44 runs.
They then bowled Sri Lanka out for 108 runs in 19 overs. The former Protea, David Wiese, was the pick of the bowlers with 2/16 in his four overs.
Namibian captain, Gerhard Erasmus said their good preparation paid off.
