
Brown gives marine phosphate the green light

The Namibian Chamber of Environment has given the dredging of marine phosphate material the green light. The planned project has been quite controversial and the approval of the chamber's founder, well-known environmental expert, Dr Chris Brown, will certainly give the project's start some impetus. Brown says that after reviewing the latest scoping report and public consultation by Namibia Marine Phosphate regarding the original environmental impact assessment, the impact is insignificant.
