South Africa’s major vehicle markets exports such as the UK and Europe will no longer allow importation of internal combustion engine vehicles by 2030, which means there is an urgent need for added investment to shift to electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing in SA. Phuthi Mpyane, a Motoring Journalist joins us to discuss the new shift towards electric cars and the effect they have on the vehicle industry.
