Research shows that the 11th of December is statistically the most popular day of the year for couples to break up.

Is there a method to the madness or is it just pure coincidence?

Apparently, couples have chosen a wide range of reasons for this break-up timing, including not wanting to introduce their significant others to friends and family and even not wanting to spend this time of the year, which can be quite stressful, with someone they are not 100% committed to.

To say we're shocked and confused would be an understatement.
