In 1973, Bhutan issued tiny playable vinyl records as postage stamps.
The stamps play folk songs and histories of the country.
While testing a top secret aircraft design during WWII, pilot Jack Woolams wore a gorilla suit and a bowler hat so that any witnesses who reported back would not be believed.
The Burj Khalifa is so tall that Muslim residents living on the highest floors must wait an additional 3 minutes to break their Ramadan fast from those on the ground floor, as they experience sunset later.
