Soos vroëer genoem, spog die Hoër Meisieskool Oranje met 12 leerders in die top 50 in die Vrystaat, die meeste deur enige skool. Hierdie skool is ook onder die top tien skole nasionaal wanneer dit by die matrikuitslae kom. Hoof, Anne-Marie Klink, verduidelik hoe hulle die jaar benader het nadat 'n wêreldwye pandemie getref het, asook hoe hulle 2021 aanpak. Dit was die hoof van Hoër Meisieskool Oranje, Anne-Marie Klink.
Nog 'n skool wat goed gevaar het, is die Hoërskool Witteberg op Bethlehem. Hulle is weereens aangewys as die top Wiskunde en Fisiese Wetenskap skool in die Vrystaat. Hoof Hannes Oosthuizen verduidelik hoe hulle dit in 'n jaar van 'n pandemie vir die derde keer kon vermag.
