The festive season is a time of joy, celebration and creating memories with your loved ones. The same cannot be said for young patients in children hospitals. Thousands of children are admitted to hospitals in South Africa annually, where many of them spend the festive season in a hospital room. Jordan Nadasen, a third-year medical student at the University of the Free State, dresses up as Superman and visits children during December in hospitals to cheer them up with gifts.
