"They Don't Learn From Their Mistakes"- Frustrated Chiefs Fans

--:--
Kaizer Chiefs fans’ frustrations continued during their 2-1 defeat to SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership, with the result leaving Amakhosi in 13th on the log, with just six points from seven fixtures. With just two wins in ten fixtures in all competitions, the Soweto giant’s 2020 is going from bad to worse, with senior players failing to inspire the struggling side. Itumeleng Khune was in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons, as another goalkeeping error led to Bradley Grobler’s opening goal. This mistake comes just days after his error against Black Leopards, raising questions as to whether he should be the side’s number one between the sticks.

In the SL Podcast’s latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Khosi supporters criticise their senior players, including Khune, as well as the likes Willard Katsande, Bernard Parker, and others. In the full podcast, some fans come to Khune’s defence, arguing that he is not to blame for Chiefs’ issues, stating that “players are not playing for the coach, they are not playing for the team, they are just playing to play”. Another fan argues, “they don’t learn from their mistakes, at least if it was a young player, we can forgive these mistakes.”
