“Sometimes football can kill you”- Pirates Fans

--:--
Orlando Pirates supporters were left frustrated after their side’s entertaining 2-2 draw against Cape Town City. What the score line doesn’t reflect is the number of opportunities which the Buccaneers wasted, racking up 24 shots on goal, with only seven on target. There were many positives from Pirates’ performance on Saturday, but heading into their MTN8 final against Bloem Celtic on Saturday, Bucs fans will hope their side improve in front of goal.

In the SL Podcast’s latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, fans discuss the high scoring fixture, with many criticising the Pirates attack for wasting scoring opportunities and showing defensive weakness with one fan stating “sometimes football can kill you. Pirates should’ve won that match 4-2”. In the full podcast, Sundowns supporters react to their sides surprising 1-1 draw against bottom of the table Maritzburg United, who earned their first point of the league campaign.
