They have desperately tried to keep afloat - inundated with puppies, kittens and unwanted animals surrendered on a daily basis- they desperately need the Dog Control Unit to honour their financial commitments. They have not been paid for months. The breakfast team was joined by Deirdre Swift, Chairperson for the Uitenhage SPCA, to talk about the way forward.
