You might have heard people talking a lot about the intermittent fasting diet. That is because it is believed to be an easy weight loss strategy. According to the World Health Organisation in 2016 1.9 billion adults were overweight and 650 million were classified as obese. Meaning almost 34% of the world’s population live an unhealthy lifestyle. Because of this, people are looking for quick remedies for weight loss and therefore they turn to strategies such as fasting or FAD diets. By the end of this talk, we hope that you understand a bit more about what exactly IF is, how it works, and if it is for you.
