Residents worried about arrest of "QwaQwa Shutdown" organizers

--:--
After the arrest of two “QwaQwa Shutdown” leaders on Friday, residents have indicated they want them to be released as soon as possible. Mphafi Mphari and Scotch Sikhosana were arrested after concerned residents met in Phuthaditjhaba Freedom Square. Last week, residents of QwaQwa in the Free State engaged in a total shutdown lasting at least three days; demanding water and for the executive mayor Masetjhaba Mosia-Lakaje to step down. Residents don’t believe that she doesn't do any effort to give them water. Children could not go to schools and residents had no means of transport to work. Maluti A Phofung 16 (MAP16) 16 leader Abiel Mokotso says there is no tangible reason for to the arrest of Mphari and Sikhosana.
